The Efficiency of Hydrogen

Hydrogen’s Affordability and Performance

Every year in the US, motor vehicles consume 3,962 million gallons of fossil fuels and emit over 100 million metric tons of carbon combined. Not also including the bus, train, maritime, and aviation industries, the depletion of natural resources is staggering. As governments across the world have begun to pursue alternative fuel options, the technology and development of clean energy has drastically improved. Thanks to the efforts and ingenuity of scientists, hydrogen is starting to be recognized as the future of fuel.

Hydrogen is renewable, 3x more efficient than fossil fuels, offers zero-emission, and can made on-site. This means that hydrogen can be made, not harvested, which significantly cuts down on production costs as well as transportation. Additionally, hydrogen produces enough energy on its own to power an entire system without the need for batteries. This saves both the use of fossil fuels and lithium, both of which are limited.

The strongest case for the transition to hydrogen, however, is Liquid Hydrogen’s efficiency output when used with fuel cells. This combination provides the ability to power all forms of transportation, ensuring that our way of life remains unchanged while our environment thrives with less carbon emissions in our skies. Hydrogen is powerful, clean, and efficient.
