About the Brigade
Our Space Coast Basket Brigade is a fun, family event where volunteers come together to package, decorate, and personally deliver Thanksgiving baskets to families in need in our community.
What started with one family surprise delivering 4-holiday baskets to unsuspecting families has now grown into one of the largest contribution projects in the Space Coast. With over 2000 volunteers (more than 50% of children) joining us in delivering 3500+ Thanksgiving Baskets!
This year we have more families in need than ever before and are asking for you, our amazing Space Coast members to join us in ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
Space Coast Basket Brigade, in Brevard County Florida, is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit that seeks to support families in need all year long. We provide food, clothing, supplies, and experiences to the most vulnerable members of our community. We work with local foster groups, homeless, veteran, and women’s shelters, schools, and many more organizations.
The Space Coast Thanksgiving Basket Brigade provided nourishment to over 3,500 families and individuals throughout the county in 2021. This year at our 13th Annual Space Coast Thanksgiving Basket Brigade, we plan to provide 3,500 full Thanksgiving meals to those in need, while bringing over 2,500 volunteers together for a common cause, where they have an amazing experience giving back.

Donate Time
Everyone is welcome to join us as we package, decorate, and then YOU personally deliver the Thanksgiving basket to the families in need in our community.
Donate Food
All items are needed for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Simply sign up for the items that you would like to donate and bring with you to the Brigade or can drop off at the Holiday Inn Viera.
Donate Funds
Make a monetary donation and we will do the shopping for you. Only $65 dollars feeds a family and every dollar counts.
