Smaller hydrogen systems offer unique accessibility and flexibility compared to typical systems available on the market. As energy demand and the need for clean alternatives grow, so does the need for flexible hydrogen access. GenH2’s LS20 Mobile Liquid Hydrogen System provides an all-in-one hydrogen solution to meet a variety of end uses.
Small-scale systems such as the LS20 can liquefy, store, and transfer hydrogen within a mobile trailer for the flexibility to provide hydrogen wherever it is needed. The LS20 was built in a trailer for added mobility, however, GenH2 offers additional small-scale models that provide portability without being on wheels. Alternative small-scale systems are designed to be more compact with a smaller footprint to fit in locations that could not otherwise have hydrogen. Although the compact units are built to be stationary, they are extremely portable so the system can easily be moved to a variety of locations to meet demand. Small-scale systems can be manufactured and implemented much quicker than typical large-scale systems to speed infrastructure buildout and global hydrogen adoption.
Small-scale, portable systems can also offer hydrogen access in small batches where larger systems cannot. Lower quantities of hydrogen are often required for testing of future end-use products such as cars, trucks, and planes. Additional uses of portable light-scale systems include disaster relief power and on-site hydrogen solutions for fueling stations.
